Net income vs free cash flow

Cash flow ia all about liquidity = how much many company has now, not counting future expenses.

Net income is real profit.

Just look at Fortinet and MarineMax, they take a lot of cash upfront. One for cybersecurity software, another for boats. It is healthy for company to have always some excess cash.
